About Us
Michele L. Gunderson, ARNP
From an early age, Michele liked helping others with injuries and illnesses. This came in handy growing up as a farm girl in rural North Idaho. Her desire for health and wellness was instilled while spending time alongside her great-grandfather who was a chiropractor/naturopath in Kellogg, Idaho. She ventured out and served as a nurse in the U.S. Army for 12+ years. Upon completion of her service, she received her RN/BSN license where she worked as a nephrology and neurology hospital nurse in Spokane, WA.
Michele’s experience as a nurse instilled a desire to do more for her patients. She returned to college and graduated from Washington State University with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her desire to work within the community led to the opening of a “House Calls” practice. Her compassion in working with individuals experiencing chronic pain led to the opening of “Integrated Pain Management”.
Being raised in a family with alternative medicine, Michele has learned how to focus on both “traditional” and “modern” medicine. In order to provide her patients a more personalized care, she received certification in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, weight loss, and IV Nutrition. Michele is honored to re-open her practice and provide care for patients in Washington and Idaho.

If you are experiencing chronic pain, which is pain that lasts for more than three months, and it is significantly affecting your life and daily functioning, your healthcare provider may refer you to a pain clinic. Pain clinics specialize in the diagnosis and management of chronic pain and offer/refer to a range of treatments to include medications, physical therapy, and other non-pharmacological interventions.
A pain management clinic can help pain patients manage their pain better. A pain clinic offers comprehensive care, usually provided by multiple providers working together as one team. As a result, patients receive individualized attention throughout the process rather than being shuffled between various practitioners.
